I HAVE FINISHED MY DRAFT OF BOOK 3!!!
I HAVE EMERGED FROM THE EDITING CAVE!!!

*blinks around at the unfamiliar sunlight* *discovers it's spring*

Ooo. Wow.

I know I shouldn't complain because my "editing cave" is actually a lovely private office in my home, full of sunny windows, tricked-out kitchen and snuggly cats, but it can be wearisome when you sit for 11+ hours a day doing nothing but editing to get stuff in on deadline. And when your only company is a couple of cats, it can be either distracting or entertaining when you're writing things that go "bump" in the night and you hear random bumping/crashing/smashing/growling in what is usually a quiet house.

I am deep in the Editing Cave but sometimes I give myself tiny rewards along the way to keep me going and make me smile because, honestly, this stuff is exhausting!
