Look what appeared on my doorstep! Big, beautiful boxes full of INSIDIOUS!
(which sounds pretty weird if you take it out of context)
I am sitting here dazzled by all the shiny, gorgeous cover art nigh sparkling in the sunlight, the slightly-raised edge of the lotus flower standing out against the galactic backdrop of swirly purples and twinkling starlight. In case you didn't know, authors rarely have a say in what appears on their covers and the Harlequin Dream Team really do an amazing job capturing the feel of what their authors are creating on the page so I am so incredibly lucky to have stunning covers year after year! Once again, the cover *IS* relevant to what's inside but you have to have some "inside knowledge" to get the reference. Stay tuned for hints & contest giveaways featuring the inside scoop on what the cover means. Have you read the teaser? It goes something like this:
True evil is rarely obvious. It is quiet, patient.
Insidious.
Awaiting the perfect moment to strike.
Joy Malone finally knows who she is, where she comes from and how to live in two worlds at once. And now she can introduce her family and friends to her mysterious boyfriend, Indelible Ink. Unseen enemies, treasonous magic and an unthinkable betrayal threaten both the Twixt and human worlds as Joy races to expose an ancient conspiracy and unleash the unalterable truth—some secrets cannot remain secret forever.
The secret's out and you'll be in for a ride!
